Tcpp is mainly used as flame retardant for soft polyurethane foam, epoxy resin, acrylic resin, polystyrene, cellulose acetate, ethyl cellulose tree and phenolic resin, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl chloride, rubber, coating. Specially recommended for rigid polyurethane foams, with excellent thermal conductivity and hydrolytic stability, especially for ASTM84 (II), for use in compounds, polyurethane foams and unsaturated wood esters and phenolic plastics.TCPP is also the raw material of DBP production.
TCPP has low viscosity at low temperatures. It is also used in conjunction with Antimony(III) oxide to improve the flame retardant efficiency.
